Abstract - Analysis of the take-off actions of young judo competitors based on the example of fights in the World Junior Championships
The authors present the analysis of take-off actions of judo competitors who participate in the World Juniors Championships. It concerns the kinds of applied technical elements and the ways of resulting the fight. The research was conducted and 224 competitors and 291 fights were taken into consideration. 70 % of thefights finished before the regulation time. The tendency in refereeing has a great influence on the fight tactics and preferred techniques. Thanks to this the combat becomes more spectacular. As a result the throwing techniques dominate and the techniques performed in „ne-waza” less and less frequently decide about the result of the fight.
