IDO MOVEMENT FOR CULTURE

In diesem Beitrag analysiert der Autor als Erziehungswissenschaftler, Pädagoge und Therapeut den diesbezüglichen besonderen Wert des Budo. Er beschreibt, wie vor allem aufgrund der empirisch nachgewiesenen Erfolge in der sozialpädagogischen Arbeit mit aggressiven, gewalttätigen Jugendlichen auf der Grundlage von Budo („Kampfkunst als Therapie“) und unter Berücksichtigung dieser Erkenntnisse die konsequente Entwicklung der neuen Fachrichtung der Budo-Pädagogik entstand und stellt die seit 1999 bestehende Ausbildung zum Budo-Pädagogen in Deutschland dar.
In this article the author as a educational scientist, pedagogue and therapist analyses the special value of Budo. Because of the already proved reduction of aggression in the “Budo-work” with violent juvenile delinquences and the positive results of getting much better social behavior through budo-based treatments he discusses the development of a new method, so called Budo-pedagogy. He describes the establishment and progress of the training courses to become a official and graduated Budo-Pedagogue and this profession in Germany since 1999.
