Abstract - Ecological era in the non-governmental organizations in Poland
In the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) the different axio-normative systems make up the basis for ecologism. Ecofeminism is taken out with Chinese Taoism and Buddhism and it was told about coming of ecological era. The anthropocentrism of hierarchic cultures is replaced by the ecocentrism – fashionable in New Age, and the Eastern wisdom and love of life (the biosophy) have to replace the intellectual property of the West.
However, throwing aside the extreme ideological positions we can to affirm, that holistic ways of psychophysical and moral improvements, they serve the idea of the ecological education very well. Physical health and internal harmony favour friendly relation to the nature. The philosophical and ethical reasons of respect for every creation and life are very important.
The ecological paradigm is not predominant in the area of non-governmental organizations not only, but there are not general agreement to his proper figure. However, the significant fact is the progressive institutionalization of ecology teaching and promotion of reliable knowledge on this subject. “Ecological era” stays rather in the sphere of idea by “deeply ecological” activists.
