Abstract - A scientific session of combat sports in Katowice
On 27 November 2009 Academy of Physical Training in Katowice organized a national scientific conference entitled: "Individual sports in theory and practice".
Among the participants were people interested in sport disciplines such as: athletics, gymnastics, cycling, swimming, combat sports and winter sports. The presented lectures, presentations and poster sessions were connected with these areas of interest. One of the worth mentioning sessions was the one devoted to combat sports (particularly fencing).
